"Fòs Ayiti 2054" is a nonpolitical and socio-economic organization founded in 2021 by a group of Ayitians living abroad . We firmly believe that our true strength lies in our capacity to be united in order to grow together in mutual respect. Our goal is to ensure that our LEGEND "l'union fait la force" becomes a reality. Our mission is to bring together the Ayitians Diaspora alongside our brothers and sisters in Ayiti with their possibilities, competencies, and values to engage in our evolution and in the development of our motherland. We see a nation where its abundant natural beauty combined with the passion and talent of its people drives sustainable progress and economic growth. Therefore, we envision a Ayiti that rises to its full potential like a beacon of hope and prosperity in a near future.
The year 2054 will mark 250 years of independence since the Ayitians' ancestors had freed us from slavery and proclaimed our freedom as the 1st BLACK NATION in the world in January 1st 1804. Since then, as a nation, we have missed so many important dates in our history. The latest big one was January 1st, 2004 which has been two hundred (200) years since our ancestors had said “Our sons and daughters must live free forever on this sacred piece of land”. An occasion that was supposed to make us proud once again but unfortunately we had missed this opportunity because we were not prepared to celebrate that moment. Therefore, if our ancestors had planned to set us free from slavery, we must plan for peace and prosperity of this great nation for this upcoming two hundred and fifty (250) years of our independence in 2054. So, the name "Fòs Ayiti 2054" has been created as a reminder that another reasonable TIME (2054) is approaching quickly. It is TIME to at least come together as brothers and sisters and to do something together to elevate the goal of our founding fathers starting today (right now), and even after the year 2054.
Fòs Ayiti 2054 was created in 2021 by a group of dynamic and passionate individuals who sought to bring positive social change in Ayiti. Our organization is committed to empowering local communities, promoting sustainable development, and fostering a culture of social responsibility. Through various initiatives and projects, Fòs Ayiti 2054 aims to address pressing issues such as agriculture, education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and economic development. Our dedication to creating a brighter future for Ayiti is at the core of everything we do.
Fòs Ayiti 2054 is a socially conscious movement that is committed to advancing positive social change. Our plan is to make a tangible difference in Ayiti. Additionally, we are open to suggestions and feedback therefore, we regularly take them in consideration to ensure that we are meeting the needs and expectations of the communities we work with. At Fòs Ayiti 2054, the phases of our project will cover multiple aspects of the Ayitians' life.
They are and are not limited to:
Agriculture (farming, fish farming, animal farming, reforestation, etc.)
Education (kindergarten, alphabetization, elementary, vocational schools, etc.)
Healthcare (hospital, urgent care, clinic, etc.)
Sport in general (football, Athletics, dance, etc.)
Social activities (communication, civism, real Ayitian culture, etc.)
Investment (real estate, properties, hotels, supermarkets, gas stations and convenience stores, laundromats, etc.)
They will all follow these steps below:
Initiation and Community Assessment (find out community needs using surveys, interviews, forums, etc.)
Planning and Strategy Development: (make a plan with goals and steps based on the assessment.)
Implementation (carry out the plan with volunteers and community involvement for real improvements.)
Monitoring and Evaluation (keep track of progress and impact, and make changes as needed.)
Sustainability and Scaling (ensure long-term impacts by building local skills and expanding successful projects to other communities.)
Each phase aims to empower communities and inspire meaningful change, in line with Fòs Ayiti 2054's mission to "bring together the Ayitians Diaspora alongside our brothers and sisters in Ayiti with their possibilities, competencies, and values to engage in our development (evolution) and in the development of our motherland."
